Respite Care

If being a full-time Foster Parent seems overwhelming, consider being a Respite Foster Parent!

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in need?

We’re looking for compassionate individuals and families to join our ministry as Respite Foster Parents.

This rewarding role provides temporary care for children in foster care, giving their primary Foster Parents a much-needed break while ensuring the children continue to receive stability, love, and support.

As a Respite Foster Parent, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Support Families: Help fellow foster parents recharge and maintain their well-being.

  • Impact Lives: Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children facing challenges.

  • Flexible Commitment: Offer care on your schedule, whether it's a weekend, a week, or just a few days.

  • Receive Training: Gain skills and knowledge to support children’s needs.

Why Become Respite Foster Parent?

Respite care plays a crucial role in supporting foster parents by providing them with much-needed breaks to recharge and maintain their well-being.

Caring for children with diverse needs can be emotionally and physically demanding, leading to burnout without adequate support. Respite care offers foster parents’ temporary relief, allowing them to attend to their own health, spend time with family, or simply relax, which ultimately enhances their ability to provide a stable, nurturing environment for the children in their care. By alleviating stress and preventing caregiver fatigue, respite care not only benefits the foster parents but also contributes to better outcomes for the children, promoting a healthier, more balanced family dynamic.

Your love and kindness can change lives!
